CHASING
AIMEE is the new young Southern California based band fronted by
popular young actress AIMEE LYNN CHADWICK (A Cinderella Story,Return of
the Living Dead 4 & 5 etcetc), with BRETT "STRESS"WALKER on Guitar,
PATRICK CORNELL on Bass, and JASON "JD" FELTMAN on Drums.
CHASING AIMEE was born at the tail end of 2004, when AIMEE, just back
home in the states from filming 2 movies back to back overseas, decided
she needed to get back to her first love of singing. Tired of working
with people and producers that always tried to turn her into some form
of pre-fabricated pop clone, AIMEE called up old friends STRESS,
PATRICK & JD to see if they would still want to make some serious
Rock n' Roll together. The boys had played, toured and recorded
together in various bands off and on over the past few years, and were
actually in the midst of putting a new band together, but couldn't
quite find the right singer. A rehearsal was set up, songs were
written, liquor was consumed, and the outcome is CHASING AIMEE...a high
energy modern rock band, with melody, hooks and a love of the party.
Just a few short months since that first fateful rehearsal, CHASING
AIMEE is moving full steam ahead. Music Attorney ELSA RAMO has joined
the team, and is now representing the group. The band has completed
work on their Debut EP, and two of the tracks from it have been
licensed for upcoming film releases. What makes CHASING AIMEE stand out
against the competition however, aside from their instantly memorable
can't get the melody out of my head songs, is their killer live show.
Energetic and intense one minute, laid back and in the groove the next,
CHASING AIMEE puts something back into music that has been sorely
missed....excitement.
So here it is folks...CHASING AIMEE. It's not about re-inventing the
wheel, it's about driving the bus.
Aimee Lynn Chadwick,
who recently wrapped the next two installments of the "Return of the
Living Dead" film series. Chadwick served as host for the Nickelodeon
series "Dirt" and had a supporting role in "A Cinderella Story." She
also appears in the feature "Motocross Kids" and as Alice in the "Alice
in Wonderland" interactive game on the special-edition DVD of the
classic Disney feature. Chadwick also is represented by Doug Murphy at
BBA Kids.
